"Learning by Doing"

"Ida's desktop"...I sent her my "forest07.jpg".
She likes this wallpaper very much.

The reason I decided to start  this HTML lesson is that "Ida" my friend in Brazil asked me how to change the midi in her email.

She is an inventive lady and a nice photographer. When I updated my website, she sent me a nice greeting card with a big smiling animated GIF and music. Then she sent me a more impressive greeting card with beautiful hydrangea and music embedded.  This was one of her first original greeting cards. (photos...Ida P.Teixeira Montez)

But the music was the one I have heard at one "e-card" homepage.  Maybe, she used the greeting card she had received before as a "template." Since then,I started to think how I can make my original greeting card. I know a little bit about HTML and succeeded in embedding my favorite midi.

The problem is "how to teach." Maybe, Ida is a HTML beginner, so she might  not understand all what I say, and her computer is different from mine. And language problem. Both Ida and I aren't native speakers of English.

So, I made the most use of the camera to make the lesson more understandable.

Now,  I hope more people will understand this "Tanaka  method" to make their original greeting cards.
